        <p>Manufacturing the metal products is considered here as an open production system. In accordance with empirical description of the system, the scientific knowledge about states of the production system and about its internal mechanisms (that are forming variability of the system parameters) is automatically generated by the methods of the physics of open systems. Obtained knowledge is used in preparation for reengineering of the production process, aimed to support of the process reproducibility.</p>
