This article analyzes the possibility of traditional approaches to the development of technology strategies. It includes proving the impossibility of direct transfer of technology to the practice of today's business enterprises. It shows the key components of the technology strategy of the enter- prise. Also the important role of the technology strategy in the strategic management of the compa- ny is underlined.
