        <p>The paper describes hydrocarbon fuels steam reforming thermochemical reactor as a heat protection element experimental study. Studies of 11 stationary regimes of chemically reacting flow with a high degree of conversion were done. The values of heat flow and the degree of conversion were calculated. The values of the specific heat absorption and cooling capacity degree of use were determinated.</p>
