        <p>In this article wide-range semi-empirical equations of state for aluminum and copper were developed. Good agreement with experimental data in the range from small to very high pressures was obtained using these equations for modeling shock adiabats for both metals. The proposed equations of state can be used for modeling exposure to laser radiation on aluminum and copper.</p>
