        <p>The data obtained through investigating the flow structure in input devices of high pressure cylinders (HPC) of powerful steam turbines are presented in this article. Results of numerical simulation are compared for four constructions of the input devices. As a result of this study, we have constructed an input device with improved aerodynamic characteristics.</p>
