Environmental safety during decommissioning of radioactive storages at the Mining and Chemical Combine reactor plant

This article has explored the options for solid radioactive wastes storage at the Mining and Chemical Combine reactor plant. The main problems of radioactive storage decommissioning were identified with a glance of the migration characteristics of radionuclides in different environment. The main goal of scientific and research work was to eliminate potential radiological hazards and to guarantee a long-term isolation of radioactive waste from the environment.
