INFORMATION METHODICAL COMPETENCE  OF TEACHERS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES UNIVERSITY

The factors and framework of professional activities of a foreign language university teacher are described. The necessity of developing the competency in IT and methodology of a foreign language teacher at technical universities is proved in the article. The definition of CALL, as well as IT and methodology competency is specified. The research data concerning using IT in foreign language teaching at universities are provided.
