MATRIX-FIBER ADHESION ASSESSMENT USING THE ARDUINO ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERTER REMOTE CONTROL PLATFORM
This paper considers two approaches to conducting tests to evaluate the basalt fiber-epoxy matrix interfacial adhesion using the Arduino analog-to-digital converter remote control platform. The approaches include the droplet detachment method from the fiber and the fiber-matrix detachment method. The results obtained in the two tests showed results comparable to those of other researchers. A variant of the device for determination of the fiber-matrix interface interaction parameters with the possibility of adjusting the loading parameters and loading zone is proposed. Thus, a device using Arduino analog-to-digital converter platform can be recommended for implementation for adhesion quality control of the fiber-epoxy matrix interface interaction.
