In article questions of methodical preparation of students of military chairs of civil higher education institutions on formation of pedagogical knowledge, skills and abilities of the organization and carrying out educational work in division in the course of daily activity are considered. The model of methodical preparation is constructed on the basis of a system approach, the theory of stage-by-stage assimilation of intellectual actions and the concept of the programmed training.
