The article describes the designed device for the conversion of electrical oscillations into mechanical oscillations that allows organizing the forced transfer of electrode metal without short circuit in the arc space and metal splatter in the process of carbon dioxide welding. It is shown that using the converter during welding decreases the electrode metal loss coefficient by 40–50 % compared to welding without the converter.
