"Global Energy(Materials Science. Power Engineering) is an open-access peer-reviewed journal that focuses on the latest research in all aspects of materials science, power engineering and electrical engineering. The online edition publishes original research and reviews (reviews - upon request and in agreement with the Editorial Board) concerning wide range of contemporary problems in these areas of science and technology.

Founder and publisher: Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.

The online edition focuses on technical publications. The online edition welcomes complete original work embodying the results of extensive field, plant, laboratory, or theoretical investigation, or new interpretations of existing problems. Materials must be considered to have significant permanent value. In addition to technical acceptability, material should be presented clearly and concisely. The description of the involved experimental procedures is of particular importance.

The online edition draws on the experience of its reviewers, who are recognized scientists working in research and production centers and leading their own research groups.

Affiliated with Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, which is an authoritative international scientific and educational center with long traditions and broad international contacts, it serves as a platform for sharing the results of relevant scientific research by scientists around the world. The online edition welcomes all international submissions.

The purpose of the online edition is to inform the scientific community about the results of completed research.

The tasks of the online edition are: publication of articles of high scientific level, involvement of outstanding scientists and specialists of international level as authors of articles.

The online edition has existed since 1995.

Global Energy comes out 4 times a year. Upon submission, all papers are subject to single-blind peer review. The publication is free of charge; all expenses are covered by the online edition. The online edition is committed to the publication ethics. The editors, reviewers and authors are supposed to follow the ethical guidelines.

The online edition accepts and publishes papers in Russian and English.
