Renewable energy sources basingon plasmaprocesses

The paper deals with the plasma gasification of carbonaceous feedstock. It comprises brief review of existing pilot and industrial projects and characteristic features of alternative fuels processing. AC plasma torches are described in details. IEE RAS experimental installation is described. Experimental procedures and results on air plasma gasification are represented.
