Two hundred years aniversary of cauchy formulae

Article is devoted to famous Cauchy formulae for stress vector in continuous medium. Cauchy constructed this formulae using reasoning about equilibrium of tetrahedron. Two hundred years this motivation is reproduced in any book on continuum mechanics. Author declares that Cauchy motivation can't be admitted as proof and presents improved motivation.
