Experimental investigation of processes of electric arch ac plasma generators operation with different flow rates of plasma forming gases

Abstract:

The results of experiments with 50Hz AC plasma generators are described. For plasma creation air and carbon dioxide were used. Oscillograms of system “power supply – electric arch plasmatron as load for power supply” were obtained. Dynamic current-voltage characteristic for different plasma forming gases were analyzed. Behavior of arch discharge channel as a load for power supply was described.
