Formation of surface layers during laser cladding using a powerful fiber laser

The results of experimental studies of the process of laser cladding with scanning with the help of a 15-kV fiber laser are presented in the article. The surface layers are deposited in the form of single tracks and continuous coatings. The substrate material is low-carbon steel. The advantages of the use of high-power lasers for laser cladding are demonstrated.
