ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT OF STATISTICAL TOOLS FOR PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF POST-INDUSTRIAL ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT

This paper analyzes the use of statistics to assess the post-industrial economy development effec- tiveness. The comparative analysis and classification of international and Russian statistical indica- tors systems and interactive databases were made. The post-industrial economy development trends and their reflection in the statistics were investigated. The role of regional statistics in the analysis of the economic development processes was considered. The process approach to the statistical indicators system formation in modern conditions is proposed and justified. On the basis of this analysis the ways of improving the statistical indicators system in Russia were proposed.
