Abstract:

The paper describes the operating principle and 3D-model of the vortex vacuum gripper. Based on the results of numerical experiments we have obtained and analyzed the dependency of holding force on the geometric parameters of the vacuum chamber and the working gas flow. According to the results we have formed recommendations on the design of vortex сontactless vacuum grippers.
