MATRIX–FIBER ADHESION ASSESSMENT USING THE ARDUINO ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERTER REMOTE CONTROL PLATFORM
This paper considers two approaches to conducting tests to evaluate the basalt fiber–epoxy matrix interfacial adhesion using the Arduino analog-to-digital converter remote control platform. The approaches include the droplet detachment method from the fiber and the fiber–matrix detachment method. The results obtained in the two tests showed results comparable to those of other researchers. A variant of the device for determination of the fiber–matrix interface interaction parameters with the possibility of adjusting the loading parameters and loading zone is proposed. Thus, a device using Arduino analog-to-digital converter platform can be recommended for implementation for adhesion quality control of the fiber–epoxy matrix interface interaction.
