Abstract:
This paper presents a method of producing nano-structured composite material Cu/γ-Al2O3. The content of aluminum oxide in the material ranged from 0,2−2,0 wt.%. By pressing, sintering and hot pressing obtained dispersionhardened alloy with homogeneous distribution of hardening particles γ-Al2O3 size of 30−40 nm in the copper matrix. Mechanical and electrical characteristics of the material were studied and concluded that the material has comparable mechanical properties and electrical conductivity as compared with industrial alloys.
